In the end, however, the Mustangs came up with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to stretch a five-point lead into a 33-14 victory.
Sweetwater — which began a three-game road swing that will also include games at Wall this Friday and Brownwood on Sept. 28 before starting district play — improved to 2-1, while Breckenridge fell to 0-3.
Blackwell and Highland both won on Friday, while Roscoe is still looking for its first victory of the still-young 2012 season.

Michael Hyde’s 16-yard touchdown run tied it at 44 with 39 seconds left in the back-and-forth game and Hyde also kicked the PAT, giving Highland a dramatic win after the defense stopped Loraine on its last series.
