About 45 people showed up to the event and picked up everything from golf balls, dirty diapers, tools, beer bottles, Styrofoam cups and straws, Lotto tickets and much more.
"It was amazing how much ground we covered in two hours," said event organizer Russ Petty. "It was great to see how many people care about our little corner of the world."

BIG SPRING — Desper-ately needing a win to have any realistic hopes of getting to the playoffs, visiting Sweetwater was down by just four points (26-22) against Big Spring after starting out the third quarter of Tuesday’s District 5-3A game with a 5-0 run.
But Big Spring answered that surge, which included a 3-pointer by Kendra Cros-son followed by Crosson’s steal and layup, with a resounding run of its own. The Lady Steers (3-3) scored the next 23 points to put the game out of reach and claim a 53-31 victory.
