Milton Bradley attended high school in Temple, Texas. Growing up in the depression, young G Boy would sometimes have to chase jack rabbits for food and the skill helped to make him an extremely fast runner. As a track and football star in high school, he had an opportunity to race against the late, great Jessie Owens and almost beat him. Jessie Owens gave G Boy his own nickname of “Speedy”.
