As the weather warms up, and the hours of daylight increase, a new specie of wild life starts to appear in the rural areas of the county. Going about on two legs, except when being carried in by a vehicle with tires and a motor, these beings are amazing to watch. Secure that no one will ever find them (in the same part of a pasture that their parents and grandparents frequented), they consume alcoholic beverages, smoke, scuffle, and engage in the other tom foolery that has been known to identify young people in the spring since time immemorial.
I notice the main stream media has been reporting the fact that The Barack didn't get to force the Catholic Church to directly pay for birth control as a "win" for the right, or conservatism. In fact, most of the people on the right are also calling that small victory a win.
What are your thoughts on the remains found in Big Spring?
Who do we believe, Ralph Nader's "Unsafe at Any Speed" or Dean Martin's song "Sweet Memories"? Nader was writing about the Corvair and Martin's song could have been. We never understood Nader's vendetta against Chevrolet's rear engined, air cooled Corvair, but we could easily apply the "Sweet Memories" song to a particular Corvair. Elva's first love!

America needs a financially-stable Postal Service to best adapt to a changing marketplace and evolving mail needs. Toward that end, the Postal Service is taking responsible actions to preserve the long-term affordability of mail and return this organization to financial stability.
The Postal Service is pursuing a significant consolidation of its national network of mail processing facilities — reducing the total number of facilities from 461 to less than 200 by the end of 2013.  Â
Dear Editor:
There has been media coverage recently of two cases involving crimes against children here in Nolan County. Unfortunately, these crimes do happen here, in our community, as well as every other community in our country, too often. Every one of them is serious and affects many lives. My office and I, as well as law enforcement, deal with these cases on a daily basis. We all work hard to successfully prosecute these cases. Sometimes, however, that is not possible.
Hi Molly,
I am in need of advice. I have been working for the same company for 10 years and in my mid 30s, attractive and intelligent. I come from a wonderful family and have a good support system that includes close friends, too. I say all of this so you won’t think I’m totally horrible.
One of my favorite sections in my local newspaper is called Cheers and Jeers. What is seen in this section is letters from readers where the contributor will either tell of some great event that they have experienced or applaud the actions of someone else. Of course, the Jeers would be the opposite of that. The readers sometimes complain about something that personally happened to them or just a universal distaste of someone or something.
