This is a special time of year. Not only do we get a Super Bowl on one Sunday but in the next three weeks we get to see who the best in music and movies are. On Feb. 12, the Grammy Awards will air. While the big dawg of all awards, the Academy Awards, will hand out the Oscars on Feb. 26.
Molly, can you help me understand a "needy" man? I have been dating one for over a year now and it seems to be getting worse over time. Even a simple night out with girlfriends turns in a dozen texts of "I miss you". The tighter he tries to hold on, the more I pull back. I have raised three boys by myself and feel like I am raising another one. He is always asking "aren't you proud of me"? He has health issues that he won't address but has no problem complaining about how he doesn't feel good. I have gotten to the point where I don't even comment back to him.
I’m writing because I need a woman’s point of view. I’m 47 and married to a wonderful woman who is 48. We’ve been married since college and have had our share of upsand downs but it seems like over the last few years things have settled into a sort of calm. That is until now. I should say that we have two sons who are 18 and 20.

Last year my wife and I traveled down to Waco to watch one of her first cousins get married over Memorial Day weekend.
Due to the price of gas and the distance, we decided to make the trip with my wife’s parents, which meant traveling down to Plainview and making the journey to Waco by going through Abilene and cutting through the northern part of Central Texas.
I’m 34 yrs old and have two children 3 and 7. I’ve been divorced for one year and still have a lot of resentment towards my ex and how things ended. He cheated on me, tried to deny everything when I knew who she was and I was the last to know. I’ve caught them together around town, and had to even stop him allowing her around our kids. He denies everything and said she was just helping out with sitting and meals. I don’t believe him for one moment.
Your answer can be based on someone who looks like you or someone who acts like you or whatever reason you may find.

Nicholas Sparks. That name alone makes women of all ages swoon just a little bit over the man who single-handedly transformed the simple love story into today's modern classics.
I throw myself into that same category of women and have been fortunate enough to have read every major book he has written and published (except for his latest, "The Best of Me"--I just got it for Christmas and I'm still trying to recover!).
