LEVELLAND â€” A pair of top-five finishes by two athletes led the Sweetwater JV girlsâ€™ effort at the District 2-4A track meet. Danielle Vega was second in the 200 dash (29.65) and third in the 100 (13.97), and Shania Towner was fifth in both events with times of 31.61 and 14.83, respectively.

A girls sports banquet will be held on May 11 for Sweetwater High School. All SHS girls athletes in volleyball, basketball, soft-ball and track will be recognized at the banquet for their achievements during the 2014-15 school year.
