Roscoe, Highland try for first victories again today

September 14, 2012

Tonight begins the third weekend of the high school football season, and two of Nolan County’s four teams — Roscoe and Highland — are still searching for their first victory.
Roscoe makes its first true home appearance tonight as the Plowboys will entertain Miles — which is also 0-2 — at 7:30 p.m.
On paper, this could be a fairly even matchup since Miles, like Roscoe, has only scored a total of six points so far.
Miles was defeated by Reagan County 21-0 in its opener, then lost this past week to Quanah 36-6.
