Funeral services for Albert Morales, Jr., 61, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Broadway Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation was held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Chapel of Memories.
Morales died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at his residence.
He was born May 5, 1951, in East Benard, Texas. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. He worked for Sweetwater Steal since 2007 and attended Roscoe Schools. He lived in Abilene for several years and in Sweetwater the last three years.
Survivors include his sons, Reuben Morales of San Antonio, Jerry Morales of Abilene, Nick Morales of Plainview, and Chris Morales of Sweetwater; daughters, Jeannette Foster of Jenks, OK, Lucinda Garcia of Abilene, Amy Woodell of Colorado City, Gloria Rodriguez of Austin, and Crystal Morales of Lubbock; sisters, Liz Lara of Victoria, Susan Martinez of Roscoe, Rose Morales of Roscoe, Becky Alvarado of Roscoe, Penny Morales of Sweetwater, Mary Hardin of Abilene, Martha Dillard of Thorton, CO, Alice Ronquillo of La Merada, CA, and Mary Wren of Stroud, OK; brothers, Robert Morales of Roscoe, Victor Morales of Sweetwater, and Leroy Morales of Tomball (Houston); 25 grandchildren and one great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alice Morales; twin sons, Jonathan and Jacob; sister, Beatriece Ramierez; and brother, Joe David Morales.
Pallbearers will be Chris Morales, Issac Aguilar, Adrian Aguilar, Eric Hartkopf, Johnny Harper, and Gabriel Galvan.
