All Sports Banquet to be held Monday at coliseum annex

Sweetwater High School’s All Sports Banquet will be held Monday, April 21 starting at 6 p.m. at the Nolan County Coliseum annex.
Each of the SHS sports teams will be recognized for their hard work and dedication. Sports teams in cross country, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, powerlifting, golf, baseball, softball and track will be recognized. Cheerleaders and student trainers will also be introduced and thanked for their constant support throughout the year. The athletes, cheerleaders and student trainers are not required to buy tickets. A highlight video recapping the season of each team will be shown at the banquet and a meal will be served.

‘Beat the Street for Little Feet’ set
On Saturday, April 26 at 8 a.m., “Beat the Street for Little Feet” will be held at the Fourth and Elm Church of Christ’s Cornerstone Christian School.
The event will include a 5K run, 50K bike tour and one-mile fun run. Each race is $25 per individual.
The home base will be at the school, and concessions and activities for children will be available during the race day. Money raised will go for program enhancement and scholarships.
