Amos, Jeffrey set records at Classic

September 17, 2013

Friday’s 51-33 win over Breckenridge proved to be a record-setting night for two Sweetwater players, Bray Amos and Kaegan Jeffrey, at the Sammy Baugh Classic.
Amos set new Classic ecords for the most total catches (9) and most scor-ing catches (4), though the first record was broken on Saturday by Booker’s Jared Reagan, who finished with 13 catches vs. Brock. Jeffrey, Sweetwater’s quarterback, also set two Classic marks with 308 yards passing as well as five TD throws. In addition, the 84 total points in the game by both teams set a new Classic record. Breckenridge’s Clay Boaz also broke the old passing mark with 307 yards against Sweetwater.
