Funeral services for Andrew Adam Olguin, 19, of Grand Prairie, will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2013, at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2013 at Sweetwater Cemetery. Rev. Everisto Granado will officiate and interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Olguin died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Dallas.
He was born Sept. 15, 1994, in Sweetwater. Andrew had lived in Sweetwater and Grand Prairie for the past four years and had attended Sam Houston High School in Arlington. He was employed by Builders First Source as an assembler.
Survivors include his son, Travis Olguin of Arlington; mother, Joanna Gamez Zuniga of Grand Prairie; father, Carlos Zuniga of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Isaac Barrientes of Grand Prairie, Jason Jacobo of Grand Prairie and Jair Jocobo of Grand Prairie; sister, Yulisa Jacobo of Grand Prairie; grandmother, Gloria Vera Olguin of Sweetwater; great-grandmother, Celina Dimas of Sweetwater; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are Isaac Barrientes, Jason Jacobo, Elias Olguin, Jessie Olguin and Benjamin Olguin, Jr.
