Angel Tree set up at Wal-Mart

November 24, 2010

Wal-Mart has partnered with West Texas Children's Advocacy Center to provide a way for many children in the area to have a better Christmas. Angels on a Christmas tree at Wal-Mart represent children who have been served by the WTCAC this year. Each angel has a child's gender, ages, sizes and special needs or a favorite toy of character that the child would like. Clubs, organizations and individuals are invited to choose a child or children to shop for, buy needed items and leave them at designated places at Wal-Mart or bring the unwrapped items to the WTCAC at 317 Oak Street in Sweetwater or 1907 40th Street in Snyder. For more information, call 235-1818 or 573-2800. The angels will be on the tree beginning Wednesday, Nov. 24. Shown are Nancy Romero, Wal-Mart manager Randie Jones, Teresa Zarate and Peggy Parrott.
