Graveside services for Anna Fern Hoover Eiland, 80, of Palava, will take place at 1 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Palava Cemetery with Rev. Brian Brownlow officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Eiland died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.
She was born Nov. 26, 1933, in Palava. She married Lloyd C. Eiland on Oct. 28, 1951, in Texas. She was a homemaker most of her life. She lived in Lockney, Texas when she got married and then to Fayetteville, Ark. for many years until moving back to Palava in November 2011 to help her brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Graham and husband Edward of Fayetteville, Ark.; three sons, Stanly Eiland and wife Angela of Fayetteville, Ark., Mike Eiland and wife Vickie of Fayetteville, Ark. and George C. Eiland of Sweetwater; seven grandchildren, David Uhl and wife Ellen of California, Anastasia Mann and husband Greg of Fayetteville, Ark., Jason Eiland of Fayetteville, Ark., Terra Gonzales and husband Mike of Farmington, Ark., Chris Eiland and wife Audra of Fayetteville, Ark., Nathan Graham and wife Ellen of Fayetteville, Ark. and Nicole Klim and husband Cliff of Fayetteville, Ark.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. Hoover, Sr. and Eula Mae Byrd Hoover; her husband, Lloyd C. Eiland on Aug. 28, 1998; a son, Robert Lloyd Eiland on Aug. 23, 1959; and her brother, G.C. Hoover, Jr. on Feb. 3, 2012.
