The Highland girls basketball team celebrated on Friday after their 55-37 victory over Baird that advanced the Lady Hornets to the Region II-A, D-II final against Garden City on Saturday. Friday’s win put Highland within one game of advancing to Austin to play in the state tournament later this week. A story on Friday’s game is on Page A6.
