Sweetwater Police Department investigating robbery

A local business was robbed on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, when a woman did not like the price of an item she planned to purchase.
According to Lt. Randy Hanes of the Sweetwater Police Department, a woman entered a business on the 1400 block of Hailey Street in Sweetwater and became upset when she learned the price of an item she had ordered. "There was a dispute over the payment of the property and an altercation ensued."
The woman tried to take the property without payment and used force, when employees tried to recover the merchandise, enhancing the charge to robbery. An arrest has not yet been made, as the case in still under investigation and will be presented to the District Attorney's Office to later be presented to the Grand Jury.
