Basketball camps set

Sweetwater basketball camps scheduled for this summer

Sweetwater will host a pair of basketball camps in early June.
A Lady Mustang Basketball Camp will be held June 4-7 at the middle school gym on 305 Lamar Street for students completing grades 2-8. Camp sessions will be from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $35 which includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration is appreciated.
A concession stand will be available. The camp’s goal is to improve players’ skills through instruction in individual skills and fun team competitions.
A Mustang Basket-ball Camp will be held from June 5-8 at the high school gym with two sessions. Students completing grades 3-5 will attend from 9-11 a.m. each day, while students who are completing grades 6-8 will attend from 1-3 p.m. daily. The cost of the camp is $30. Each camper must sign a release form and show proof of insurance. All participants will receive a camp T-shirt. Water will be provided, but each camper can bring a sports drink if they choose to do so.
