There will be a fundraiser for Teresa Wood Smith and her husband Mark Smith of Sweetwater, whose home burned on Thursday, Nov. 1.
The fire began as an electrical problem, according to Sweetwater Fire Chief Grant Madden.
The fundraiser will be at Wal-Mart on Saturday, Nov. 17. Friends of Teresa and Mark will be selling brisket sandwiches and hot dogs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until they sell out.
Money will be used to help Teresa and Mark restore her home. Teresa is a home health nurse and graduate of Sweetwater High School.
