Bicycle rider struck by truck

A bicycle rider was transported to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital by ambulance this morning after being struck by an SUV a mile and a half west of Roscoe on the north service road.
According to emergency authorities, he was in stable condition. The patient and his father were taking a morning ride when he was struck.
The SUV is said to have been driving into the sun which may have played a role in the accident.
