Blackwell lost to Robert Lee, 37-25, in junior high action this past Thursday to fall to 1-1 overall.
Blackwell’s Chase Wynne ran for 180 yards on 10 car-ries and finished the game with four touchdowns. He had scoring runs of 45, 35 and 46 yards, and also scored on a 65-yard kick return. He also ran for a PAT and had three tackles and two assists. Tristen Hayes had 38 yards on three carries, was 4-of-11 passing for 50 yards and had 10 tackles and four assists. Also for Blackwell, Charlie Cano had a 4-yard run, two catches for 40 yards, two tackles and one assist; Cole Alley caught a 5-yard pass; and Alley, Chris Sorrells and Doug Hardy had one assist. Blackwell’s ‘B’ team scrimmaged Robert Lee and won 7-6, with Hunter Clark scoring the TD and Dillon Solis adding the PAT.
