In an effort to be fair to our readers and the community, the Sweetwater Reporter has established the following policy concerning obituaries.

• Death Notices - Death Notices, which will include the name, age, hometown, date of death and date of funeral, will run everyday from our first contact from the funeral home until the day of the funeral.

• Full Obituary - The Full Obituary will run the day before the funeral and will include death notice information plus the person's background and survivors.

• Follow Up - Follow Ups will be run the day after the funeral and will include information concerning the services (pallbearers, music, etc.).

• All information and corrections will be accepted only through a funeral home.

The deadline for daily obituaries is 3:30 p.m. for the next day's paper. The deadline for Sunday obituaries is Saturday at 10 a.m. Due to the Sweetwater Reporter being closed on Sundays, deadline for Mondays obituaries will be at 8 a.m. on Monday. Feel free to call us at 325-236-6677.
