The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 40 calls for service, issued no citations and made no arrests on March 29, 2011.

The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Family violence assault — 1200 block of Elm.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had five calls for service, served one civil paper and made two arrests on March 29, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Kevin Alan Rayson, 22 of Sweetwater — Warrant/driving while intoxicated.

Arrested by DPS:
• Sandra Deette Todd, 44 of Cedar Hill — Driving while intoxicated and possession of controlled substance (meth).

Calls for service:
• Stranded motorist — Broadway/Cypress, Roscoe.
• Vehicle accident — FM 1809.
• Vehicle accident — Highway 84.
• Inmate transport/medical — Big Spring.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 262 west bound.

Total in Custody: 49 (Garza County, four, Taylor County, two).

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to seven ambulance calls and one fire call on March 29, 2011.
• Three calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Two calls in the county.
• Two calls for Abilene transfers.
