The SPD received 29, 911 calls.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served three civil papers and made three arrests on April 6, 2011.

• Medical emergency — 300 block of Blanco, Blackwell.
• Medical emergency — 1100 block of Main Street, Roscoe.
• Grass fire — Highway 84.
• Grass fire — Highway 84 and CR 2143.
• Stray livestock — Mesquite Lane.
• Grass fire — I-20 and Highway 84 Split.
• MHMR transport — 4200 block of Woods Place, Abilene.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230.
• Welfare concern — I-20 MM 234.
• Harassment — 500 block of Locust.
