The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 44 calls for service, issued two citations and made two arrests on April 1, 2013.

The SPD received 26, 911 calls.

• Theft — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Criminal mischief — 700 block of Lamar.
• Theft of precious metal — 2300 block of E. Broadway.
• Burglary of a building — 300 block of Lamar.

Arrested by SPD:
• Leonard Lawhon, 25 — Possession of a controlled substance.
• Robert Hernandez, 46 — Warrants.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 13 calls for service, served one civil paper and made four arrests on April 1, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Catherine Elizabeth Saddlemire, 44, of Abilene — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Brent James Deberry, 27, of Abilene — Warrants/theft by check and parole violation.
• Megan Hope Treadway, 20, of Sweetwater — Warrant/failure to appear.

Arrested by DPS:
• Daniel Lamar McLaurin, 18, of Lubbock — Possession of marijuana.

• Theft — CR 205.
• Reckless driver — I-20 west bound.

• Prisoner transport — Middleton Unit, Abilene.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 east bound.
• Reckless driver — Highway 153/Highway 277.
• Medical emergency — Cedar Street, Roscoe.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 252 west bound.
