The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 74 calls for service, issued 11 citations and made five arrests on April 16, 2012.

The SPD received 15, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 600 block of Lamar.

Calls for service:
• Assault — 700 block of Neff.
• Theft — 1100 block of Elm.
• Forgery — 1700 block of Lamar.
• Runaway — 1000 block of Bowie.
Arrested by SPD:
• Brian McQueen, 20 — Warrants.
• Matthew McQueen, 38 — Disorderly conduct.
• Williams Pritchard, 24 — Hindering apprehension.
• Justin Ramirez, 23 — Public intoxication/disorderly conduct.
• Male juvenile, 13 — Runaway.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served one civil paper and made two arrests on April 16, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Lateasha Denise Veal, 38, of Sweetwater — Warrant/forgery financial instrument.
• Isaac Montemayor Carrillo, 23, of Sweetwater — Judgment.

Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 236 east bound.
• Alarm — N. I-20.
• Illegal dumping — CR 147.
• Prisoner transport — Middleton Unit.
• Prisoner transport — Taylor County jail.
• Stray livestock — FM 1230.
• Stranded motorist — FM 608.
