The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 55 calls for service, issued 11 citations and made two arrests on April 23, 2012.

The SPD received 26, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Assault by threats — Sweetwater.
• Trespassing — 1000 block of W. Third.

Arrested by SPD:
• Adam Muñoz, 26 — Warrant.
• Christopher Boyd, 17 — Possession of marijuana.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 15 calls for service, served three civil papers and made six arrests on April 23, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Bay Torrez Velasquez II, 31, of Sweetwater — Warrants/parent contributing to fail to attend school, no driver's license (when unlicensed), driving when license invalid with previous convictions/suspension, and allowed child age 4-14, not secured.
• Bradley Don Gardner, 22, of Sweetwater — Warrant/duty on striking fixture/highway landscape.
• Jared Seth Davis, 25, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.

Arrested by DPS:
• Billy John Rosas, 30, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Jesse Rogelio Olguin, 28, of Big Spring — Howard County warrant/possession of dangerous drugs and possession of marijuana.
• Anthony Ryan Gonzales, 29, of Odessa — Possession of marijuana and Union County warrant/violation of probation.

• Prisoner transport x3 — Runnels County.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 258 west bound.

• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 east bound.
• Theft — CR 110.
• MHMR transport — W. New Mexico.
• Alarm — CR 307.
• Assist DPS/back up — I-20 MM 251 east bound.
