The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 50 calls for service, issued four citations and made three arrests on April 24, 2013.

The SPD received 18, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 300 block of NW Georgia.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a building — 1400 block of Hailey.
• Driving while intoxicated — 300 block of Elm.
• Credit card abuse — Sweetwater.
• Burglary of a building — 300 block of Pine.

Arrested by SPD:
• Billy Kirk, Jr., 38 — Counterfeiting.
• Kerrie King, 22 — Taylor County warrant.
• Thomas Green, 43 — Driving while intoxicated.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 13 calls for service, no civil papers served and made four arrests on April 24, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Juan Jaramillo, 42, of Sweetwater — Driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility.
• Luis Garcia, Jr., 38, of Sweetwater — Warrant/driving while intoxicated, second offense and judgment.
• Leslie Wayne Pugh, 49, of Marlot, Okla. — Warrants/motion to revoke probation and hinder apprehension/prosecution.
• Wayne Leroy Holstine, 42, of Sweetwater — Warrants/driving while license invalid, second offense and public intoxication.

• MHMR transport — Abilene.
• Suspicious incident — E. Third.
• Suspicious incident — Park Circle.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 269 west bound.
• Residential fire — FM 608.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 220 east bound.
• Suspicious incident — FM 126.
• Inmate transport/MHMR — W. New Mexico.
• Residential fire — Cedar Street, Roscoe.
• Vehicle accident — I-20/CR 104.
• Civil problem — CR 109.
• Reckless driver — South Highway 70.
• Medical emergency — North Concho Street, Roby.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to two ambulance calls and one fire call over the past 24 hours.
