The SPD received 27, 911 calls.
Calls for service:
• Burglary of a habitation — 1700 block of Hailey.
• Theft — 1500 block of Ragland.
• Theft — 2400 block of E. Broadway.
Arrested by SPD
• Londa Bussey, 44 — Public intoxication.
• Jeremy Johnston, 36 — Warrant.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had six calls for service, served five civil papers and made two arrests on Aug. 3, 2011.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Ruben Atlas Pimpton, 68, of Sweetwater — Judgment.
Arrested by DPS:
• Billy Joe Malone, 24, of Hawley — Taylor County warrants/surety withdrawal and motion to revoke probation, Jones County warrant/family violence assault.
Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 238 east bound.
• Animal control — FM 1856.
• Reckless driver — Highway 84.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 241 east bound.
• Animal control — Mesquite Lane.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 255 east bound.
