The SPD received 16, 911 calls.

• Stephanie Smith, 23 — Theft.
• Jennifer Arispe, 40 — Theft.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had four calls for service, served no civil papers and made four arrests on Aug. 15, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Michael James Guillow, 43, of Dallas — Warrant/possession of controlled substance (heroin), Dallas warrant/traffic offense, & Grand Prairie warrants/driving while license invalid & fail to maintain financial responsibility.
• Joshua David Isbell, 27, of Burleson — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• David Wayne Cook, 40, of Ravenna — Hopkins County warrants x4/theft by check x2, theft of property & surety withdrawal.
Arrested by DPS:
• Joseph Robert Sherman, 36, of Sweetwater — Driving while intoxicated.
Calls for service:
• Suspicious incident — Area of Hoyt St/Apple Creek Apts.
• Animal control — I-20 E/B rest area.
• Reckless driver — S HWY 70/HWY 153.
• Suspicious incident — Ponderosa.
