The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 55 calls for service, issued three citations and made one arrest on Aug. 21, 2012.
The SPD received 17, 911 calls.
Calls for service:
• Burglary of a vehicle — 900 block of Thomas.
• Credit card abuse — 1400 block of Hailey.
• Theft — 100 block of S. Hopkins.
• Burglary of a residence — 900 block of W. Arizona.
Arrested by SPD:
• Darla Jones, 43 — Warrant.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Aug. 21, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Romaldo Espino Gutierrez, 73, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• James Rincon, 31, of Athens — Judgment.
Calls for service:
• Assist SPD/attempt to locate — Sweetwater.
• Close patrol — CR 266.
• Burglary — CR 181.
• Inmate transport/MHMR — W. New Mexico.
• MHMR transport — Abilene.
