The SPD received 18, 911 calls.

• 300 block of Grape.

Calls for service:
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — 400 block of Fisher.
• Property lost and found — 500 block of E. Broadway.

Arrested by SPD:
• Brenda Mendez, 29 — Burglary of a habitation.
• Joe Harrell, 30 — Family violence assault.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Aug. 22, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Justin Halston Nash, 22, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Lidia Hernandez Gutierrez, 49, of Sweetwater — Judgment.

Calls for service:
• Stolen vehicle — I-20 MM 217 east bound (Loraine).
• Stray livestock — CR 181.
• Gas theft — SE Georgia Avenue.
• Suspicious incident — CR 247.
• Assist SWFD/vehicle accident — E. Broadway.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 254 east bound.
• Court Bailiff — 32nd District Court.
• Information only — TSTC.
• Reckless driver — Highway 84.
• Stray livestock — FM 1856.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 265 west bound.
• Reckless driver — E. Bradford Lane.
