The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 50 calls for service, issued three citations and made no arrests on Aug. 24, 2011.
The SPD received 19, 911 calls.
Accidents:
• 300 block of E. Avenue A.
Calls for service:
• Theft — 1000 block of View.
• Criminal trespass — 600 block of Pecan.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had four calls for service, served five civil papers and made no arrests on Aug. 24, 2011.
Calls for service:
• Court Bailiff — County Court at Law.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 east bound.
• Illegal dumping — CR 105.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 exit 241 east bound.
Total in Custody: 42 (1 Taylor County)
The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to five ambulance calls and two fire calls on Aug. 24, 2011.
• Four ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• One fire call in the city of Sweetwater.
• One fire call in the County.
• One transfer to Abilene.
