The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 46 calls for service, issued two citations and made no arrests on Aug. 29, 2012.

The SPD received 18, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a building — 200 block of W. First.
• Credit card abuse — 1200 block of Grand.
• Family violence assault/impede breath — 1400 block of Hughes.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had four calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Aug. 29, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Preston Allen White, 23, of Merkel — Warrant/violation of probation.
• Mary Ann Gonzales, 54, of Abilene — Warrant/bond forfeiture.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a building — Highway 84.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 244 west bound.
• Assault — E. Third.
• Prisoner transport — Dallas.

Total in Custody: 47 (Runnels County 2, Garza County 1)
