The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 37 calls for service, issued three citations and made no arrests on Aug. 8, 2011.
The SPD received 25, 911 calls.
Calls for service:

• Criminal mischief — 1600 block of Hailey.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served eight civil papers and made one arrest on Aug. 8, 2011.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Erica Magallon Carrasco, 34, of Odessa — Warrant/bond forfeiture x3.
Calls for service:
• Information only — E. Highway 80.
• Theft — FM 419.
• Court Bailiff — 32nd District Court.
• Welfare concern — Brother English Road.
• Harassment — Glendale Road.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 258.
• Suspicious vehicles — I-20 MM 256 west bound.
• Vehicle accident — Cypress Street, Roscoe.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to five ambulance calls and two fire calls on Aug. 8, 2011.
• Six calls in the city of Sweetwater.
