The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 39 calls for service, issued two citations and made three arrests on Dec. 12, 2012.

The SPD received 21, 911 calls.

Arrested by SPD:
• Christina Navarrette, 37 — Driving while license invalid.
• Silviu Dumitrascu, 36 — Theft.
• Jerry Espinoza, 28 — Warrants/burglary of a habitation/failure to identify fugitive.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had four calls for service, served one civil paper and made two arrests on Dec. 12, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• David Joseph McCurdy, 27, of Clyde — Warrant/possession of marijuana.
• Arthur Lee Ollison, Jr., 54, of Balch Springs, TX — Warrant/failure to identify, giving false/fictitious information.

Calls for service:
• Stranded motorist — Highway 84.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 260 west bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 eastbound at rest area.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 233 east bound.
