The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 127 calls for service, issued 10 citations and made eight arrests from Dec. 9-11, 2011.

The SPD received 55, 911 calls.

• Branden Almanza, 20 — Warrant/evading with previous conviction.
• Ricco Garcia, 29 — Warrant.
• Edgar Gallegos, 19 — Driving while intoxicated.
• Jennifer Carrisalez, 30 — Driving while license invalid.
• Brian McQueen, 25 — Warrant.
• Zamardrick Walker, 18 — Warrant.
• Paul John Castaneda, 23 — Warrant.
• Kendrick Robinson, 22 — Theft.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 14 calls for service, served zero civil papers and made eight arrests from Dec. 9-11, 2011.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to seven ambulance calls and three fire calls on Dec. 9.
• Three fire calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• Five ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• One ambulance call in the city of Roscoe.
• One ambulance transfer to Abilene.
