The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 55 calls for service, issued one citation and made three arrests on Feb. 21, 2013.

The SPD received 24, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 100 block of SE Georgia.
• 200 block of E. Avenue A.

Calls for service:
• Duty on striking — 1900 block of Chester.
• Criminal mischief — 1800 block of E. 13th.

Arrested by SPD:
• Thomas Cox, 46 — Assault.
• Randall Wilson, 35 — Driving while license invalid.
• Melodey McWilliams, 27 — Public intoxication/criminal trespass.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 12 calls for service, served no civil papers and made five arrests on Feb. 21, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Dustin Robert Wells, 27, of Sweetwater — Bench warrant.
• Gerald Wayne McDonnell, Jr., 36, of Sweetwater — Warrant/bond forfeiture.
• Patrick Joe Miller, 26, of Longview — Warrant/burglary of a building.

Arrested by DPS:
• Raul Rangel, Jr., 33, of Plainview — Theft of property enhanced with two or more convictions and possession of marijuana.

Arrested by DA Investigators:
• Jason Wayne English, 35, of Sweetwater — Fail to maintain financial responsibility, no drivers license (when unlicensed), and possess drug paraphernalia.
