The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 68 calls for service, issued eight citations and made three arrests on Feb. 7, 2013.
The SPD received 24, 911 calls.

• Sexual assault of a child — Sweetwater area.
Arrested by SPD:
• Female juvenile, 16 — Runaway.
• Mark Abbe, 34 — Theft and driving while license invalid.
• Jackie Norris, 56 — Public intoxication and possession/use of volatile chemical.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Feb. 7, 2013.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Zachary Charles Homer, 23, of Tujunga, CA — Possession of marijuana.
• Roberto Salcedo Hernandez, 56, of Sweetwater — Warrant/theft.

• Theft — White Flat Road.
• Suspicious incident — SW Railroad, Blackwell.
• Assault — Loop 544, Roscoe.
• Grass fire — South Highway 70.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 255 west bound.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 238 west bound.
