The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 46 calls for service, issued three citations and made two arrests on Feb. 29, 2012.

The SPD received 36, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 100 block of SW Georgia.
• 900 block of Lamar.

Calls for service:
• Open container in vehicle x2 — 900 block of Lamar.
• Fraud — 900 block of Lamar.
• Criminal trespass — 1900 block of Douglas.
Arrested by SPD:
• Raymond Frank Gonzales, 20 — Accident involving injury.
• Male juvenile, 12 — Possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Feb. 29, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Roderick Lyle Hamlett, 30, of Abilene — Taylor County warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Brandon Carl Powell, 29, of Abilene — Warrant/bond forfeiture and Jones County warrant/manufacture/deliver controlled substance (cocaine).

Calls for service:
• Information only — BNSF rail yard.
• Stray livestock — CR 230.
• Medical emergency — Nueces Street, Blackwell.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 255 west bound.
• Inmate transport/MHMR — W. New Mexico.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 251 west bound.
• Escort — I-20.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.
