The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 44 calls for service, issued no citations and made three arrests on Jan. 10, 2013.

The SPD received 27, 911 calls.

Accidents:
• 100 block of S. Hopkins Road.
• Arizona and I-20.
• 1300 block of W. 8th.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 700 block of Pease.
• Duty on striking an unattended vehicle — 1600 block of Grand.
• Cruelty to animals — 100 block of Tonkawa.
• Family violence assault — 900 block of Lamar.
• Theft — 1100 block of E. Broadway.
• Information report — 1600 block of San Carlos.
• Aggravated robbery — 1700 block of Pease.

Arrested by SPD:
• Jesse Tollison, 35 — Warrant service.
• Merrick Treadway, 24 — Warrant service.
• Jorden Leroy Kite, 21 — Driving while intoxicated.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served one civil paper and made four arrests on Jan. 10, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Richard Lee Ferrell, 75, of Sweetwater — Public intoxication and deadly conduct.
• Daniel Lee Robinson, 30, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to proceed adjudication.

Arrested by DPS:
• Mario Vicente Ramirez, 28, of Abilene — Failure to identify fugitive, intent give false information and board of pardons and parolees warrant/manufacture-deliver controlled substance.
• Steven Bernard Renfro, 31, of Abilene — Possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance (hashish) and unlawful carrying of weapon.

• Suspicious vehicle — I-20 MM 259 west bound.
• Inmate transport/medical — E. Arizona.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to eight ambulance calls and two fire calls over the past 24 hours.
