The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 34 calls for service, issued one citation and made three arrests on Jan. 18, 2012.

The SPD received 20, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Family violence assault — 1100 block of Crane.
• Theft — 900 block of Circle Drive.
• Theft — 1300 block of James.

Arrested by SPD:
• Jason Ben Anderton, 18 — Felony warrant.
• Byron Blueford, 23 — City warrant and county warrant.
• Tracy Huddleston, 29 — Duty on striking an unattended vehicle.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served no civil papers and made three arrests on Jan. 18, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Jeremy Enoch Harendt, 28, of Blackwell — Warrant/injury to a child/elderly/disable with intent of serious bodily harm.
• Billy Joe McKay, 28, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.

Arrested by DPS:
• Johnny Lee Parker, 39, of Lubbock — Randall County warrants/aggravated theft by check and motion to proceed capias pro fine.

Calls for service:
• Illegal dumping — CR 274/CR 152.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 256 west bound.
• Stray livestock — I-20 east of MM 247.
• Prisoner transport — Taylor County.
• Gas theft — 12th Street, Roscoe.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 242 west bound.
• 911 open line — FM 1230.
• Prowler — Cedar Street, Roscoe.

Total in Custody: 45
