The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 72 calls for service, issued three citations and made three arrests on July 12, 2011.

The SPD received 32, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 900 block of E. 17th.
• Criminal mischief — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Theft — 400 block of NE Georgia.

Arrested by SPD
• Robert Gonzales, 57 — Theft.
• Bobby Broome, 50 — Driving while license invalid.
• James Gray, 39 — Prohibited weapon/Reckless driving.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 15 calls for service, served two civil papers and made one arrest on July 12, 2011.

Arrested by DPS:
• Pedro Ortega, 41, of Roscoe — Driving while intoxicated, second offense.

• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 229 east bound.
• Damaged property — 7th and Oak, Roscoe.

• Close patrol — S. Wiley, Blackwell.
• Assist forest service — FM 1856.

• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 243 west bound.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 251 east bound.
• Burglary — Idlewild Creek Road.
• Domestic disturbance — Elm Street, Roscoe.
