The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 142 calls for service, issued nine citations and made seven arrests from July 15-17, 2011.

The SPD received 81, 911 calls.

• Possession of a controlled substance — East Interchange.
• Assault causing bodily injury — 200 block of FK Williams.
• Credit card abuse — Sweetwater.
• Theft — 300 block of E. Avenue C.
• Theft — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Criminal mischief — 1600 block of Grand.
• Family violence assault — 800 block of Murrah.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 34 calls for service, served two civil papers and made two arrests from July 15-17, 2011.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to 13 ambulance calls and six fire calls from July 15-17, 2011.
• Eight in the city of Sweetwater.
• Ten in the county.
