The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 59 calls for service, issued seven citations and made one arrest on July 25, 2012.
The SPD received 35, 911 calls.
Calls for service:
• Theft of a firearm — 600 block of Lamar.
• Burglary of a building — 1400 block of Hoyt.
• Information — 1000 block of W. Avenue C.
Arrested by SPD:
• Vincent Jackson, 30 — Warrant.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had eight calls for service, served no civil papers and made three arrests from July 24-25, 2012.
Arrested by NCSO:
• Kenneth Speed, 30, of Sweetwater — Motion to revoke probation/theft by check.
• Sondra Kaye Reeves, 40, of Sweetwater — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.
• Jesse Leroy Dooley, 32, of Sweetwater — Probation modification on driving while intoxicated with child under 15.
Calls for service:
• Reckless driver — Cypress and Main, Roscoe.
• Abandoned vehicle — FM 1856 and Highway 70.
• Alarm — CR 137.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 267 west bound.
• Abandoned vehicle — I-20 MM 256 west bound.
• Inmate transport/medical — Rolling Plains ER.
• Abandoned vehicle — I-20 MM 240 east bound.
• Domestic disturbance — Bois D'Arc, Roscoe.
