The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 59 calls for service, issued two citations and made two arrests on July 5, 2012.
The SPD received 33, 911 calls.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served no civil papers and made four arrests on July 5, 2012.

• Samuel Ojeda, 19, of Del Rio — Possession of controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of marijuana (5 pounds to 50 pounds).
• Anthony Dwayne Hickman, 33, of Sweetwater — Taylor County warrant.
• Felix Espinoza, 38, of Altus, Okla. — Possession of marijuana.
• Nicholas Hunter Espinoza, 25, of Olustee, Okla. — Possession of marijuana.
