The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 57 calls for service, issued eight citations and made five arrests on June 14, 2012.

The SPD received 27, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 1200 block of Towncreek.
• Harassment — 700 block of W. Sixth.
• Narcotics — 200 block of E. Fourth.

Arrested by SPD:
• Little Johnny Gutierrez, 33 — Warrant.
• Cresencio Ruiz, 58 — Public intoxication.
• Gilbert Aguilar, 20 — Possession of marijuana/possession of dangerous drug.
• Alfred Arnold, 38 — Possession of marijuana/possession of controlled substance.
• Nicholas Bustamante, 30 — Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence/assault of a public servant/burglary of a habitation intend other felony/terroristic threat/endangering a child/theft.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on June 14, 2012.
Arrested by DPS:
• Branden Thomas Almanza, 20, of Sweetwater — Indictment served.
• Tracy Deles Hoskins, 33, of Sweetwater — Warrant/theft by check.

• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 232 east bound.
• Assault family violence — Hickory Street, Roscoe.
• Criminal mischief — FM 1170.
• Family violence assault— Cedar Street, Roscoe.
• Medical emergency — CR 107.
• Welfare concern — I-20 service road east of FM 1856.
• Lost property — Main Street, Roscoe.
• Assist SFD/gas leak — Elm Street, Roscoe.
• Vehicle accident — Highway 153.
• Criminal trespass — CR 109.
