The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 28 calls for service, issued one citation and made two arrests on June 19, 2012.

The SPD received 37, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a habitation — 1100 block of Hiawatha.
• Theft — 1700 block of Lamar.
• Theft — 500 block of Robert Lee.
• Runaway — 800 block of E. Avenue D.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile, 15 — Runaway.
• Male juvenile, 13 — Family violence assault.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had six calls for service, served nine civil papers and made one arrest on June 19, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Robert Jamal Jones, 37, of Abilene — Warrant/bond forfeiture.

Calls for service:
• Alarm — CR 137.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 244 east bound.
• Grass fire — I-20 MM 226.
• Suspicious vehicle — Lake Sweetwater.
• Stray livestock — FM 608.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 246 west bound.
