The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 50 calls for service, issued six citations and made one arrest on June 6, 2011.
The SPD received 19, 911 calls.

• Criminal mischief — 100 block of SW Georgia.
• Family violence assault — 1000 block of Lamar.
• Theft — 500 block of E. Broadway.
Arrested by SPD:
• Robert Franklin, 27 — Warrant/failure to identify fugitive.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served nine civil papers and made two arrests on June 6, 2011.

• Krystel Marie Magee, 27 of Sweetwater — Bench warrant.
Arrested by DPS:
• Amber Jeffrey, 33 of Sweetwater — Jonhson CO, NE — Warrant/theft by check.

• Reckless driver — I-20 Exit 238 west bound.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 233 west bound.
