The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 130 calls for service, issued seven citations and made seven arrests from March 30 - April 1, 2012.

The SPD received 67, 911 calls.

• 100 block of W. Avenue B.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a residence — 400 block of Canfil.
• Duty upon striking an unattended vehicle — 2000 block of Hailey.
• Theft of vehicle — 1300 block of Pease.
• Theft — 1100 block of E. Broadway.
• Theft — 1700 block of Hailey.
• Indecency with a child — Sweetwater.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — 500 block of NW Georgia.

Arrested by SPD:
• Antonio Flores, 39 — Public intoxication with three priors.
• Aretha Black, 42 — Warrants.
• John Flores, 28 — Public intoxication.
• Male juvenile, 16 — Aggravated sexual assault of a child.
• Shawnda Thompson, 41 — Evading arrest/detention.
• Caleb Hughes, 31 — Family violence assault.
• Clinton McVay, 39 — Warrants.
• Male juvenile, 10 — Indecency with a child.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 27 calls for service, served two civil papers and made 10 arrests from March 30-April 1, 2012.

• Matthew Ray Torrez, 23, of Lovington, N.M. — Warrant/theft of service.
