The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 40 calls for service, issued four citations and made no arrests on May 17, 2012.

The SPD received 25, 911 calls.

• Theft — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Burglary of a habitation — 1400 block of Hughes.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served one civil paper and made one arrest on May 17, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Jerry Dewitt Washington, Jr., 27, of Sweetwater — Bench warrant.

• Suspicious incident — Main Street, Roscoe.
• Reckless driver — I-20 east bound rest area.
• Stray livestock — FM 1856.
• Prisoner transport — Gatesville.
• Theft — CR 222.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 262 west bound.
• Prisoner transport — Taylor County.
• 911/medical — I-20 at 235 exit.
• Vehicle accident — West bound I-20 interchange.
• Traffic hazard — South Highway 70.
• Domestic disturbance — Broadmoor.
