The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 39 calls for service, issued five citations and made four arrests on May 2, 2012.

The SPD received seven, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 300 block of Alamo.

Arrested by SPD:
• Chano Hernandez, 54 — Warrants.
• Lisa Gonzales, 33 — Theft.
• Gina Rios, 21 — Family violence assault.
• Paul Treviño, 32 — Driving while license invalid.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had five calls for service, served four civil papers and made one arrest on May 2, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Joseph Pete Guerrero, 27, of Snyder — No driver's license (when unlicensed), failure to maintain financial responsibility, warrant/driving while license invalid, capias pro fine and assault.

Calls for service:
• Stray livestock — Ross Cemetery Road, Blackwell.
• Prisoner transport — Howard County.
• Reckless driver — I-20 Roby exit.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 245 east bound.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 west bound before Highway 84 exit.
